Metabo'Light is a 100% natural food supplement for overweight horses or ponies that can not lose despite a strict diet. It is also recommended to support equines, insulin-resistant donkeys, chronic laminitis and/ or affected by equine metabolic syndrome. Metabo'Light supports horses at risk: 

• Horses that are overweight and/or obese 
• Horses that grass in the spring 
• Horses that have already had a laminitis crisis

It is important to perform herbal detox 15 days just before giving the Metabo'Light. Hepa clean 10 days or herbs drainage and laminitis 15 days.
The liver ensures the storage of SUGAR: when glucose is in excess in the blood (hyperglycemia) following a meal of grain for example, the pancreas secretes insulin which orders the liver to capture and store this glucose in the form of glycogen. This reduces blood sugar levels to normal levels. (Laminitis/Cushing/SME) Conversely, when the level of glucose is too low in the blood (hypoglycemia), the pancreas secretes glucagon, which orders the liver to release the glucose it has stored in order to bring blood sugar back to a normal level.
